David’s deep experience in music marketing includes senior executive positions at Midem, The Orchard, Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, VH1/MTV Networks, Putumayo, and Wind-up Records.
Current and recent clients include SPIN Magazine, Showpass, The Cauldron, SoundExchange, AudioShake, JKBX, Tipalti, Dot Music, Bandzoogle, Myxt, found.ee, Festicket, Ottawa Bluesfest, CID Entertainment, AEG, Cirque Eloize, TVT, Shout! Factory, Mobile Backstage and GigSalad among dozens of others.
David has also held leadership roles at leading experiential marketing agencies including US Concepts/MKTG and EMCI/Rockbill, where he ran their London office for 2 years in the 90s.
In recent years David has curated or moderated 50+ physical and virtual panels at leading industry events including Wallifornia, NIVA, SoAlive, Music Tectonics, MusicBiz, SXSW, Cool Out, IEG, FestForums, Midem, MU:CON and Canadian Music Week where he also produced the CMW and O’Cannabiz Hackathons.
When not traveling to industry conferences David resides in Nyack, NY with his family where he enjoys playing drums and attending as many live music events as possible.
