Charles Alexander

Charles Alexander is an independent singer/songwriter, digital strategist and artist manager. He is the co-founder and CEO of Launcher, a tech forward record label and label services agency that specializes in streaming marketing and strategy. He also owns Outside the Box Music, an artist management company. He is a co-founder and former partner at Streaming Promotions.

He was responsible for Keeley Valentino generating over 12 million streams in a year for her song “Nashville” during the early days of Spotify. One of the first truly independent artists to do so.

Alexander has worked with artists as diverse as Ryan Cabrera, Keb’ Mo’ and Jackie Venson. He helps artists, musicians, and songwriters create and extend their online presence. His teams run campaigns to increase fan acquisition, fan engagement, and brand awareness focusing on streaming music services and TikTok. He established “Rock The Net”, a first of it’s kind educational initiative that taught music industry professionals how to market music online.

He is passionate about bringing awareness and equal access to BIPOC artists, musicians and labels. Especially those of AAPI heritage.

He is a published author in research related to music & technology. He frequently writes and speaks about the subject. He is also in-demand at area colleges and events such as South by Southwest, Music Biz and the Americana Music Association Festival & Conference.
