Charles Driebe
Charles Driebe is a personal manager of musical artists, best known for managing the Blind Boys of Alabama since 2000. He is also a Grammy-winning record producer, an entertainment attorney, a producer of live performances and concert tours, and a Grammy-nominated songwriter.
Charles is the founder and CEO of Blind Ambition Management, which manages multiple artists including Grammy-winning original Stax Records soul man William Bell, Southern Gothic singer/songwriter Jim White, indie darlings The Low Anthem, Grammy-winning producer/bandleader/guitarist Shane Theriot and others. Charles has spoken at numerous seminars and conferences, including SXSW, WOMEX and Americanafest, and has been featured on radio (NPR’s Morning Edition, etc) and television (60 Minutes, etc) speaking about the company’s clients as well as entertainment law and management in general.
In 2021, Driebe co-produced a song with Bela Fleck that was nominated for a Grammy. In 2022, Charles co-wrote and co-produced a song featuring a collaboration between the Blind Boys and Black Violin which was also nominated for a Grammy. And Driebe was a co-producer of the album ‘Echoes of the South’ by the Blind Boys, which won a Grammy Award in 2024.
