Judy Tint


Judy Tint is a music attorney, college professor, and musician. A graduate of Rutgers College and Columbia Law School, she has over 25 years of experience representing artists, songwriters, producers, industry executives, and other creators, from unknowns to icon. She has been on the faculty of the NYU Music Business Program since 2008, and has served for over ten years as a Governor of The Recording Academy’s New York Chapter. She is currently Chair of the American Bar Association’s Forum on the Entertainment and Sports industries, and a longtime Board member of the Rhythm and Blues Foundation. Judy has spoken at numerous industry conferences throughout the country, and has made multiple trips to Capitol Hill as an advocate for artists’ and songwriters’ rights. While she has no plans to quit her day job, Judy is also a  musician and songwriter who has recorded with artists across multiple genres, and has performed at Carnegie Hall, The Ryman Auditorium, Radio City Music Hall, the Portland Waterfront Blues Festival, Broadway’s Palace Theatre, and London’s REWIND Festival, as well as appearing on “Late Night With Conan O’Brien” and on multiple PBS specials.
