Lee Dannay is Head of A&R at Thirty Tigers, a premier independent label services company that specializes in marketing, distribution, and creative support for a distinguished roster of independent artists. With over three decades of experience in A&R and music publishing, Lee has held senior executive positions at Columbia Records, Epic Records, and Warner/Chappell Music. Her visionary approach has been instrumental in launching and shaping the careers of renowned artists such as John Mayer, Brandi Carlile, Train and Moby. She currently works with a diverse range of talent, including Corinne Bailey Rae, Amos Lee, Bruce Hornsby, Béla Fleck, and Taj Mahal.
A dedicated advocate for the music community, Lee is currently serving as President of the New York Chapter of the Recording Academy. Her contributions extend to several philanthropic and educational efforts as well, including volunteering for Musicians on Call, mentoring for She Is the Music and Grammy U, and serving on the boards of We Are Moving the Needle, Music Will, and the Cornell Media Guild. Additionally, Lee shares her expertise as an adjunct professor at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music.
