Creative partner and music advocate are best used to describe McKenzii Webster. The Memphis, TN, native serves as the Crosstown Arts Musician & Artist Services Manager. In this role, McKenzii works to provide the Memphis music creative community with resources, such as music publishing administration support, healthcare support, and sync licensing via Crosstown Sync.
In 2024, McKenzii took on a pivotal role in shaping the cultural landscape by assisting in programming the Summer and Fall seasons at the Overton Park Shell, an iconic venue known for its rich history and vibrant community events. McKenzii is also the founder of The Web MGMT. She uses her passion for music and connecting the dots between creativity and strategy to help creatives strengthen their online presence and grow sustainable audiences.
In addition to her roles at Crosstown Arts and The Web MGMT, McKenzii serves as a producer for the acclaimed docu-series, AMERI’KANA TV. This series celebrates the diverse and dynamic sounds of American music, bringing untold stories and unique voices to the forefront. AMERI’KANA playfully and with curiosity explores the origins, heritages, histories and cultures that carried and birthed the music we know today.
McKenzii currently manages singer-songwriter/musician/producer Spree Wilson, Hip-Hop artist Daz Rinko, and singer/songwriter/producer TANGELA. She has also worked behind the scenes with artists such as MonoNeon, Making Movies, Rizo, Los Rakas, Luke Winslow-King, and more.
McKenzii is a graduate of Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT; and attended Harris Institute in Toronto, ON, where she studied music business. McKenzii served as a contributing writer for EARMILK from 2016-2020. She currently serves on the Music Export Memphis Artist Advisory Council and became a member of the Memphis Chapter of The Recording Academy in 2022.
