Ms. Tee
Ms. Tee is a singer, songwriter, producer and entrepreneur who hails from New Orleans, Louisiana 6th Ward. At the age of 14, she became the first female signed to Cash Money Records in the early 90’s. Ms. Tee gained notoriety with the album “Having Thangs” which surfaced just as New Orleans Bounce Music commenced to permeate the South. By the age of 18, Ms. Tee recorded her second album “Female Balla‟ which included two female anthems ‘If He Don’t Trick’ and ‘Creepn’. In 1997 Ms. Tee had every female craving to be a “Hot Girl” with her third album, which featured the hit single ‘Free Your Mind’. The fourth album ‘’Don’t Get Mad, Get Even” exemplified Ms. Tee’s versatility with an arrangement of mellow ballads along with club and trunk bangers such as ‘Fu*k Dem Other Ho*es’. The album featured the late-great 5th Ward Weebie, Mia X, and the Ghetto Twins. That same year, Ms. Tee was also featured on the stellar hit ‘Why You Acting Funny’ with Partners N Crime.
Ms. Tee has worked with national recording artists including the late great Soulja Slim, Juvenile, Big Freedia, B.G., Bun B and Pimp C. Ms. Tee has also worked with Grammy nominated artist, Trombone Shorty and has graced the stage with Grammy award winning and multi-platinum artist Lil Wayne at the Weezyana Festival.
Ms. Tee is not letting up and is set to drop ‘Winter Sessions’ in March. The album produced by Lighthouse Studios again showcases her versatility as a songwriter and will allow fans to see the softer, sultry side of Ms. Tee. ‘Banana’ and ‘I Know You Feel It Baby’ are two standouts. Ms. Tee has not only mastered being an artist, but she has also embarked on the path of entrepreneurship by starting her own clothing company Ms. Tee’s Legendary Boutique and music company called Beautiful Soul Music, LLC. With numerous albums and a host of mixed compilations in her repertoire, Ms. Tee has definitely solidified herself as ‘The Queen’.
