Stephanie Sales is Associate General Counsel at Sirius XM and Pandora where she specializes in artist matters and live events. Stephanie works closely with sponsors, advertisers, and marketers to create unique fan experiences alongside artists and production teams.
Stephanie began her career in artist management, helping to represent a roster of nationally touring bands for a San Francisco-based management company. She went on to focus on copyright and IP in law school at Santa Clara University and spent time working on copyright and music licensing at YouTube and Ingrooves Music Group. She joined Pandora in 2016 as a licensing attorney, negotiating agreements with labels and publishers for the music on the Pandora service. In 2019, after Sirius XM acquired Pandora, Stephanie began to lead the live event and artist legal group for the organization.
She recently relocated to New Orleans from Oakland, California and enjoys attending local live music as often as possible and exploring the city’s amazing restaurants.
